Andre D. Cage, 32, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – second offense. Sentenced to 60 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $673.

Devonae Williams, 21, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Shanteria Latresse Payne, 23, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Johneshia McMorris, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Zachary P. Minor, 20, charged with simple assault. Case remanded to file – subpoena not served.

Kelvin Johnson pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Fine set at $712.

Wednesday, July 16:

Carlos A. Smith, 25, found not guilty of simple assault attempt to create fear.

Elbert Hughes III, 24, charged with vile and profane language in public. Case dismissed — outside city limits – no jurisdiction.

Sharlotte Jean Dotson, 46, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Fine set at $713.

Melanie F. Hawkins, 26, pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days concurrent on each count. Total fine set at $1,089.

Taylor Wilson, 23, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Friday, July 18:

Elizabeth Junkin, 20, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case remanded to file – had prescription for the meds but not with her.

Niki Ragan Miller, 40, pleaded guilty to speeding (60 mph in a 45 mph zone). Fine set at $202.

Terence Hawkins pleaded guilty to shoplifting — 2nd offense. Sentenced to 60 days with 53 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve seven days in jail. Banned from store. Fine set at $723.

James Thomas, 68, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.
