NATCHEZ — Services for Sammie Scott, 48, of Natchez, who died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin White officiating.

Burial will follow in Higdon Baptist Church Cemetery in Olenburg under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Scott was born March 6, 1966, the son of Jeff Scott and Mary Squalls.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Scott; four sons, Derrick C. Blanton, Cortrell Scott, DaRon Buie and Charles Smoot; three daughters, Jarerica Scott, Crystal Buie and Amber Smoot; one sister, Joyce Williams; and 11 grandchildren.
