Shasonya Smith pleaded guilty to simple assault.

Anthony Washington charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Washington was also charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Friday, July 25

Donderic M. Minor, 34, charged with resisting arrest. Case remanded to files. Minor was also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Case remanded to files. Minor was also charged with public drunkenness. Case remanded to files.

Dexter Gales, 30, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $568.

Charmaine King, 24, pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior to run concurrently. Total fine set at $801.

Star Freeman, 23, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Nicholas M. Mire, 23, found guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. No fine set.

Rodrick L. Byrd, 28, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Lauren E. Geoghegan, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting —first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Wynona Anders pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Monday, July 28

Kendrick Odell Shelvy, 37, charged with petit larceny. Case dismissed at victim’s request at trial.

Christopher Foster, 21, charged with willful trespassing. Case dismissed — complainant not served and officer failed to appear.

Sharlotte Jena Dotson, 46, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $713.

Megan Dotson, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $713.

Wednesday, July 30

Alexander Bequette, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $623.

Lance Marques Blackwell, 37, found not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia — proof did not show with a reasonable doubt who it belonged to.

O’Byrain Washington, 25, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Shemika Denise Butler, 37, found guilty of misdemeanor false pretense. Fine set at $323. Restitution set at $70.

Jimell Warfield Jr., 22, pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $313.

Hunter Baltz, 18, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Jeffery Huseman, 48, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Sammie Reese, 54, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 22 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for eight days served. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Kevin R. Bates pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To spend 48 hours in jail. Fine set at $623.

Britainny Cheyenne Cupstid, 21, charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Case dismissed because of co-defendant Hugh Hedrick plea.

Melvin W. Dillon, 37, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373. Dillon was also charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case dismissed.Dillon pleaded guilty to public drunkenness.
