PORT GIBSON — Funeral services for Mary Storks, 82, of Port Gibson, who died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, were Saturday at St. Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Byram D. McKinzie Sr. officiating.

Burial followed at Spring Hill Cemetery in Grand Gulf under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mrs. Storks was born July 28, 1932 in Port Gibson, the daughter of Hugh and Carrie Williams Storks.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John L.; five siblings, Ruby, Beulah, Thelma, Emma and Earnest, and one grandchild, Darnell.

Survivors include nine children, Vincent, Ronnie and wife Joan, Brenda and husband Al, John and wife Myra, Wanda and husband Ronnie, Patrick, Darrin, Nicole and husband Sammy and Charles and wife Margarida; one special granddaughter, Bianca “BeBe,” and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
