Real estate commission elects Stedman chair

NATCHEZ — Joe Stedman has been elected chairman of the Mississippi Real Estate Commission by its members for the upcoming year. He previously served a term as as chairman following an appointment to the position Gov. Kirk Fordice. He has served on the commission for a total of nine years.

Stedman’s real estate career began in 1972 working as a sales agent. He opened his own company after receiving a broker’s license in 1973. He has earned the prestigious Accredited Land Consultant designation from the National Association of Realtors, and is actively engaged in recreational land and investment timber sales in Southwest Mississippi.
