NEW ORLEANS — Services for Catherine Sims Sewell, 56, of New Orleans, who died Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, will be at noon today at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home in New Orleans.

Burial will follow at Metairie Cemetery under the direction of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Ms. Sewell was preceded in death by parents, Gerald N. Sims Sr. and Lois Waite Sims and one brother, Robert V. Sims.

Survivors include one son, Logan N. Sewell; one brother, Gerald N. Sims Jr., M.D., one stepsister, Missy Jackson Adam; one niece; two nephews; and a number of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
