FERRIDAY — Services for J.W. White, 81, a retired correctional officer of Sicily Island, who died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at Columns Community Care Center in Jonesville, will be at 2 p.m. today at Comer Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with the Rev. James Gass officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. White was born May 6, 1933, in Forrest, La.
