NATCHEZ — Services for Katherine Anderson Morrison, 61, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Luther Bonds officiating.

Burial will follow at First Moses Cemetery in Fenwick under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Morrison was born Nov. 27, 2014, in Natchez, the daughter of the Rev. Matthew and Agnes Colston Anderson.

She was a past member of St. James Baptist Church choir, Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church choir and Zion Chapel A.M.E. Church choir.

Ms. Morrison was preceded in death by her parents; five uncles, William T. Anderson, Fred Anderson Sr., the Rev. James C. Anderson, Amos Colston and Ameal Lucky; five aunts, Annie Hoskins, Margaret Anderson, Ester Anderson, Edith Anderson and Odessa Lucky; one brother-in-law, Barney Williams Sr.; two nieces; and one great-nephew.

Survivors include three brothers, Robert Anderson and wife, Rosalie, Michael Anderson and Matthew Anderson Jr. and wife, Ginetta; one sister, Ruth Williams, all of Natchez; six nephews, Lionel Anderson and wife, Yokena, Dewayne Anderson and wife, Selena, Jordyn Anderson, Michael Anderson, all of Natchez, Michael “Cortez” Anderson of Jackson and Clarence White of Houston; eight nieces, Brenda Minor and husband, Romallis, Patricia Sessions and husband, Roy, Konette Davis, Arreona Anderson, all of Natchez, Clydette Anderson, Vanessa Edmonds and husband, Tony, all of Jackson, Dwan “Katrina” Anderson of Batesville and Daphne White of Dallas; two aunts, Katie Anderson and Janie Green, both of Natchez; two special friends, Earlean Green and Ruby Williams; and a number of other relatives and friends.
