NATCHEZ — Services for Willard J. Maguire, 71, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at noon today at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.

Burial will follow at the Taylor Family Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Maguire was born June 20, 1943, in New Orleans, the son of John William Maguire and Dora Louise Hudson Maguire.

He was a retired shipyard welder .

Mr. Maguire was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include four children, Dora Maguire, Billy Harris, Nettie Jo Maddox and Tonya Renee Haymon; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Nathan Green Jr., Huey Lee Maddox Jr., Joe Verdin, Howard Haymon, Scottie Haymon and Chris Burtreand.
