BRANDON — Memorial services for Jo Alsobrook Parris, 83, of Brandon, who died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at her residence, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home.

Jo was born in Guntersville, Ala., and has been a resident of Brandon since 1976. She was employed by Safeway Cleaners as an accountant.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Sara Alsobrook Parris and Henry Parris; a sister, Jeanne Parris Tatum; a brother, James Parris and two nephews, Byron Tatum Jr. and Ken Tatum.

Survivors include her sister, Eleta Parris of Pensacola, Fla.; three nephews, Scot Tatum and wife Sharon of Madison, Patt Tatum and wife Leslie of Madison and Jim Parris and wife Jamie of Millbrook, Ala.;  two nieces, Kelly Parris of Tampa, Fla., and Sara Tatum Altmeyer and husband Johnny of Gulf Shores, Ala;  seven grandnieces and nephews and 2 great-grandnieces; very special friends Linda Ferguson and Brad Parker; and dear friends, Robby Whyte, Jackie Wilson, DeLynne Satimore, Debbie Lopemann and Bacall.
