NATCHEZ — Services for Craig Harris, 48, of Roxie, who died Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Wilcher officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hunt Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Harris was born June 10, 1966, in Meadville, the son of Walter and Rachel Harris.

He was a former football player and graduate of Franklin High School. He was a Mason and a member of the National Guard for six years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Vater Harris.

Survivors include two brothers, Walter Harris Jr. and wife, Denotra, of Chicago and Ray Charles Harris and wife, Bobbie, of Natchez; one sister, JoAnn Childs and husband, James, of Virginia; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
