NATCHEZ — Services for Manfred Jackson Carr, 79, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Basilica.

Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Carr was born Dec. 12, 1934, in Virginia, the son of Wallace and Evelyn Carr.

He was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus and a long time member of the Guardian Collector.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Victoria Jean Carr.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Carr; three daughters, Deborah Chase and husband, Leonard, Rebecca Carr and Angela Jacob; one son, Jerome Carr and wife, Candi; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives and friends.
