KIRBY — Services for B.J. Hunt, 76, of Roxie, who died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Kirby with the Rev. Joseph Logan officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hunt Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Hunt was born Nov. 21, 1937, in Franklin County, the son of Monroe Hunt Sr. and Minnie Keaton Hunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; one daughter; six brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Mae Bailey Hunt; five sons, Eddie, Walter, Keith, Michael and Marcus; three daughters, Kathy, Lidia Marie and Brenda; 23 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Lee Hunt and Hollis Hunt; and an umber of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
