FERRIDAY — Funeral services for James “Bubba” Humphrey, 67, who died Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at his residence, will be Monday at Mr. Beulah Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.

Graveside service will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery, under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Humphrey was born on July 19, 1947, in Ferriday, the son of Selena Humphrey Cotton.

Humphrey served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968 and was a maintenance supervisor for Montgomery Square Apartments.

Humphrey was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Jordan Humphrey; three sons, Louis Jordan of Ferriday, Mark Humphrey of Gulfport, Ms. And James Humphrey (Dericka) of Charleston, Sc.; six daughters, Archet Humphrey, Gwendolyn (Albert) Atkins, Wanda Jordan, all of Ferriday, Leola Carter (Kenny) of Zachary, La., Chrystal Moore of Natchez and Carlena Humphrey of Gulfport, Ms.; twenty grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one aunt, Ethlynne Harris of Ferriday.
