Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jacobs announce the engagement of their daughter, Geri LaShaundra Wallace to Bryan Jamiel Woods, all of Byram, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Edward Scott of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Fayette High School and attended Alcorn State University. She is employed by Comcast.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Rosie Thomas and Mr. Will P. Thomas Sr., both of Fayette, and Mrs. Laura Jacobs of Jackson.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and also attended Alcorn State University. He, too, is employed by Comcast.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Woods Sr. of Natchez, the late Mrs. Vivian Williams of Vicksburg and the late Monroe Scott of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at the Natchez Convention Center.

A reception will follow the ceremony.
