Friday, Dec. 12

Curtis D. Sanders, 40, charged with public drunkenness. Case dismissed on failure of officer to appear.

Tyronne Washington charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case remanded to files.

Bessie Devaul, 55, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $573.

Michael S. O’Gwin, 30, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Matthew S. Wayland, 23, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Terry B. Jackson pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Fine set at $623.

Monday, Dec. 15

Orinthia M. Bailey, 47, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for five days served. Banned from Southside Market. Fine set at $573.

Paul A. Cager, 53, pleaded guilty to five counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $1,878.46.

Wednesday, Dec. 17

Latara K. Cade, 21, found guilty of shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Belk for five years. Fine set at $598.

Brandy E. Colbert, 28, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case remanded to files at written request of officer.

Shamika S. Herrington, 28, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case remanded to files at written request of officer — defendant refused to cooperate, refused subpoena.

Barney Hawkins Jr., 19, found guilty of shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Belk for five years. Fine set at $573.

Anthony Haywood charged with simple assault. Case remanded to files at request of victim after defendant apologized to victim. He is not banned from store.

Yokena Hall Wilson, 30, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Gregory L. Anderson, 47, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days with seven days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Fine set at $250.
