NATCHEZ — The burn ban over Adams County has been lifted.

Adams County Board of Supervisors President Darryl Grennell lifted the ban at approximately noon Tuesday.

The board of supervisors had placed the county under the ban Dec. 1 at the recommendation of County Fire Coordinator Darryl Smith, who said it needed to be in place until conditions were less dry and windy.
