NATCHEZ — Services for Edward Thomas Sr., 64, who died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at the University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Cannonsburg under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas was born Dec. 4, 1950, the son of John Thomas Sr. and Delia Thomas.

He was Baptist.

Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jessie Lee Waston Thomas and Lourcina Thomas; and four children, Edward Thomas Jr., Larhunda Jones, Alma Belton and Abner Belton.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Thomas and companion, Victor Johnson; two sisters, Georgia M. Anderson and Alice Thomas; two brothers, Walter Thomas and John Thomas Jr.; grandchildren, Andreika, Devona, Dekayla, Deshenda Thomas, Jantanvia and Janeika Jones, Javerius Mosby and Denel Fulton; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
