The Rev. Monroe Ware of Natchez announces the engagement of his daughter, Monique Ware to Corey Ellis, son of Barbara Minor and Edward Ellis, both of Fayette.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Katherine Cammon of Golden Meadow, La.

She is a graduate of Natchez High School and Copiah-Lincoln Community College.

She is the granddaughter of the late Pearlie Ware and the late Ed Ware Sr. of Natchez.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Jefferson County High School in Fayette and Tennessee Volunteer Training School in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

He is employed by Averitt Express Center in Jackson.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at The Canteen in Duncan Park in Natchez.

A reception will follow the ceremony.
