NATCHEZ — Services for Bobby Joe Beach, 85, of Vidalia, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Hanley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until service time Thursday, both at the funeral home.

Mr. Beach was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Marion County, the son of George Washington Beach and Colie Eleanor Cameron.

He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator.

Mr. Beach was preceded in death by her parents; his wife, Catherine Beach; and one grandson, Kenny Beach.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Bolyer and husband, Ralph, of Vidalia and Ginger Miller and husband, Randy, of Missouri; two sons, Kenneth Beach of Kentwood, La., and Robert Beach and wife, Shelly, of Vidalia; one stepdaughter, Judy Bolyer of Vidalia; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Ottis Beach; one sister, Lessie McKinley, both of Lumberton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Bolyer, Jeremiah Sandy, Dustin Hailey, Rachel Beach, Bobby Charles Beach and Kenneth Beach.
