WATERPROOF — Services for Bobby Hudson Wilkerson Sr., 73, of Waterproof, who died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church in Waterproof with the Rev. Adrian Lundy officiating.

Burial will follow at the Canton Cemetery in Newellton, La., under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Wilkerson was born March 11, 1941, in Newellton, La., the son of Smitha and Loella Frazier Wilkerson.

He was a retired educator from Tensas Parish School System.

Mr. Wilkerson was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Kelly Wilkerson; one son, Bobby H. Wilkerson Jr. and wife Shantrell, of Waterproof; one daughter, Tiffany Franklin and husband, Correll, of Zachary, La.; one sister, Luehelen Lundy of Newellton; three grandchildren, Correll Franklin Jr. and Cayden Franklin, both of Zachary, and Jeremiah Wilkerson of Waterproof; and a number of cousins, other relatives, friends and former students.
