FERRIDAY — Services for Debra White, 39, of Ferriday, who died Friday, March 13, 2015, at the Christus Schumpert Highland Hospital in Shreveport, La., will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rufus Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Michael Reed officiating.

Burial will follow at the Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. White was born April 18, 1975, in New Orleans, the daughter of Charles Alexander and Wilda Mixon White.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include five children, Marquis White, Nicholis White, Nigel White, Ledger Powell and Nikkiya White; her mother, all of Ferriday; two brothers, Louis White of Winnsboro, La., and Paul White of New Orleans; four sisters, Vera White and Valerie White, both of Ferriday, Ann Robinson of New Orleans and Deloris Robinson of Vidalia; her companion, Dutch White Jr. of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
