FERRIDAY — Services for Kenneth Wayne Green, 44, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Sixth Street Church of God in Christ in Ferriday with the Rev. Willie Joe Ellis officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be at 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Green was born May 30, 1970, in Ferriday, the son of Willie Green and Berniece King.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Rufus Elmore, Alex King Jr., Donald Ray King and Jeff Albert Green.

Survivors include one daughter, Phedeja Green of Houston; four brothers, Earl Green of Orlando, Fla., Larry Green of Ferriday, Henry Green of San Jose, Calif., and Ronnie Elmore of Natchez; five sisters, Faye King, Shelia L. Green and Florida Miller, all of Ferriday, Cynthia L. Green of Lake Charles, La., and Linda Ruth Mazique of Natchez; a special niece, Courtney Green of Ferriday; and a number of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
