NATCHEZ — Services for Leo Lavon Wallace, 93, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McNeely Road Church of God with the Rev. Brian Monehan officiating.

Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mr. Wallace was born Aug. 22, 1921, in Winnsboro, La., the son of Nathaniel Wallace and Marvie Ashley Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laverne Wallace; one son, Billy Ray Wallace; one daughter, Barbara Ann Moore; two sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include one son, Charles Wallace of Carriere; one daughter, Linda Ferguson of Alabama; four grandchildren, Catherine Odom of Brandon, Jeffrey Wallace of Carriere, Casey Seale of Vidalia and Christopher Seale of North Carolina; eight great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Robert I. Moore of Natchez; and special friends, Eddie and Kim Forbess.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Wallace, Casey Seale, Eddie Forbess, Nathan Humphrey, Jason Odom and Dan Lofton.

Honorary pallbearers will be the male members of the senior adult Sunday school class at McNeely Road Church of God.

Memorials may be made to the Christmas Fruit Basket Fund at McNeely Road Church of God.
