Brent Orr of Whittier, N.C., and Jennifer Rasberry of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Kristin Orr to David Cameron Bridges II, son of David and Pam Bridges of Haymarket, Va.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Battlefield High School in Haymarket and a senior educational psychology major at Mississippi State University.

She is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Doris Rasberry of Natchez and J.D. and Wanda Orr of Vaiden.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Battlefield High School in Haymarket and has completed course work at Universal Technical Institute in Pennsylvania. He is employed as a technician at Starkville Ford in Starkville.

He is the grandson of Howard and Lois Markus of Huddleston, Va., Sydney Baker of Round Hill, Va., and Linda H. Bridges and the late John W. Bridges Sr. of Chantilly, Va.

The wedding will be Saturday, June 6, 2015, at The Briars in Natchez.

A reception will follow the ceremony.
