CLAYTON — Services for Glen E. Daniels, 63, of Ferriday, who died Friday, May 8, 2015, at Riverside Hospital LTAC in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton with the Rev. Rickey O’Quinn officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hope Estate Cemetery in Wisner, La., under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Mr. Daniels was born Jan. 27, 1952, in Wisner, the son of Jesse and Jessie Ross Daniels.

He was employed by Louisiana State University Agriculture as a county agent.

Mr. Daniels was Baptist.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Raphael Armstrong, and one niece, Delisha Jones.

Survivors include his parents of Wisner; his loving wife, Newana Brass Daniels; one son, Jerrical Daniels and wife, Demetria, of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Shonté Daniels of Ferriday, Jessica Daniels of Houston and Sheneka Armstrong of Winnsboro, La.; four brothers, Michael Watson and wife, Esther, of Baton Rouge, Michael Daniels and wife, Jennie, Kerry Daniels and wife, Rashaunda, all of New Orleans, and Gary Daniels of Monroe, La.; six sisters, Vera Daniels, Martha Daniels, both of New Orleans, Esther Watson, Dorothy Watson, both of Sicily Island, La., Lisa Roberts of Monroe, and Jacqueline Smith and husband, Rick, of Houston; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one aunt, Ethel Whitley of Wisner; a special niece, Lahoya Tolliver and husband, Ricky, of Sicily Island; a good friend, Renard Cage and wife, Vanessa, of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
