Week of May 8—14:
Christopher Hauer charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Hauer charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Marcus Mearday charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Mearday two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Terrance Thompson charged with malicious mischief. Case bound over to a grand jury.
William Zimmerman charged with possession of a weapon. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Adams County Circuit Court Cases
Friday, May 8:
Jonathan Easterling pleaded guilty to sexual battery (Count I) in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court. Sentenced to 30 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Count II (sexual battery), and Counts III and IV (child fondling [unlawful touching of a child]) are retired to inactive files.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases
Friday, May 8:
Frednandus Frye, 25, pleaded guilty to amended charge of disturbing the peace – domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $498.
Ava T. Bell, 43, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.
Bell pleaded guilty to 20 counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $7,337.55.

Monday, May 11:
Meisha Miller, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Wednesday, May 13:
Ruth Marie Blazio, 43, found guilty of shoplifting – first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $598.
Joshua O. Murray, 31, charged with trespassing. Case dismissed on recommendation of Magnolia Bluffs Casino – signed agreement not to return.
Talimon D. Cooper, 34, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.
Michael A. Johnson, 23, pleaded guilty to simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $623.
