Sibley Zydeco Festival June 5 and 6

It’s that time Miss-Lou! It’s the most exciting time of the year.

It’s the time when people come from all over to have a good time with family and friends. It’s time for a festival like no other.

It’s a time when some of music’s superstars come to take you on a musical journey.

Sibley Zydeco Festival will kickoff Friday, June 5. The rodeo starts at 7 p.m. At 8 p.m., Bigg Redd and The Creole Soul will be performing live the song that will make you dance all night long.

Saturday, June 6, will be epic. We are taking it to another level.

The superstars of Southern Soul, R&B, Blues and a platinum rap artist will perform live.

Cash Money Records artist Juvenile is a rapper, actor and songwriter. He became popular with the hit “Back That Thang Up.” His album “400 Degrees” was certified four times platinum. And on Oct. 28, 2014, he resigned with Cash Money Records.

Another superstar who’s putting Mississippi on the map worldwide is Mr. Sipp The Mississippi Blues Child. He has performed in Natchez and worldwide. If you have seen his show you have experienced greatness like no other. He’s the 2014 International Blues Challenge winner by way of Vicksburg.

Also performing live will be Big Pokey Bear. The hard-hitting performer from Louisiana has become one of the most in-demand artists in the southern soul market. His songs “They Call Me Pokey” and “Sidepiece” have put him on top of the charts.

Ms. Jody will be showing out with her hits “What You Gonna Do” and more. She is one of the most successful artists in the female singers genre.

Also performing live will be Chris Ardoin, Bigg Redd, Lady Trucker and Summer Wolfe.

Get ready for some mechanical bull riding, bungee jumping, wall climbing, gyro extreme and more, all have been added to this exciting event. There will also be a ATV giveaway sponsored by Dawkins Polaris. Tickets are $10.

Friday admission is $10; Saturday admission $20; Kids 6-12 $10; and $10 per ATV. Come join the fun.
