NATCHEZ — Adams County Court Judge Walt Brown was one of seven Mississippi trial judges who recently completed general jurisdiction training at the National Judicial College.

Completion of the two-week course is required for Mississippi trial court judges within a year of taking office.

Brown was elected in November and took office in January. He previously served a number of years as the Assistant District Attorney.
