FERRIDAY — Services for Bobbye Henderson, 60, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, June 11, 2015, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin Conner officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be at 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Henderson was born May 5, 1955, in Natchez, the daughter of Louis Henderson Sr. and Ernestine James Henderson.

She was a homemaker and Baptist.

Ms. Henderson was preceded in death by one son, Yuan Henderson and two brothers, Louis Henderson Jr. and Richard Henderson.

Survivors include her parents; one son, Kelvin Henderson; one daughter, Jennifer Leonard and husband, Jonathon, all of Ferriday; five brothers, Roy James Sr. and wife, Wanda, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ben Henderson, Maury Henderson and Van Henderson, all of Ferriday, and Carlos Henderson of Alexandria, La.; one stepbrother, Lionel Mosby and wife, Ollie, of Monroe, La.; six sisters, Viola Armstrong, Delores Henderson, Linda Henderson, Lawanda Lyles and husband, Earl, all of Ferriday, Vickey Henderson of San Antonio, Texas and Tammy Henderson of Monroe, La.; eight grandchildren, Keondias Henderson, Keyuan Davis, Janaisa Scott, Yuankeyel Henderson, Desiree Johnson, Jordan Henderson, Jalen Green and Keanna Jefferson; one great-grandchild, Zoey Milligan, all of Ferriday; a special friend, Brenda Johnson; one godchild, Jalaiyah Kelly, both of Ferriday; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
