Joey and Lisa Gilbert of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Taylor Gilbert to Matthew Derr, son of Philip Derr of Columbus, Ohio and Lori Young of Arlington, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of Alcorn State University in Lorman. She is employed by Adams County Christian School.

She is the granddaughter of Glenn and Marie Arnold of Natchez, Bobby and Sherry Schnaubert of Millsap, Texas and Johnny Gilbert of Knoxville, Tenn.

The groom-to-be is a graduate Arlington High School in Arlington. He is employed by Great River Industries in Natchez.

He is the grandson of Jerry and Karen Landolt of Arlington and Jean Derr of Rawson, Ohio.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 96 Duckpond Road, under the oak trees, in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Cranfield Baptist Church.

Family and friends are invited. Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
