Adams County Justice Court Cases 

Week of June 26-July 2:

Jerry Thomas pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance.

Kanesha Jackson pleaded guilty to telephone harassment.

Wharlest Jackson pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.

Julius Taylor charged with three counts of grand larceny. Case bound over to a grand jury. Taylor was also charged with home repair fraud. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Jennifer Aldridge charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Anthony Washington charged with sale of a controlled substance.

Shonkeitha Holmes charged with receiving stolen property. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Boris Ward charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases 

Friday, June 26:

Ashleigh K. Biglane, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Kimberly Monique Smith, 28, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $523.

Demestra L. Winding Jr., 27, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 24 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for six days served. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $573 minus $100 credit. Must pay a fine of $473.

Monday, June 29:

Arthur L. Moore, 40, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case dismissed — officer failed to appear.

Arthur L. Moore, 40, pleaded guilty to expired driver’s license. Sentenced to five days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $305. Moore also pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with property damage to attended vehicle. Fine set at $284.

 

Wednesday, July 1:

Jeremy D. Smith, 18, charged with malicious mischief. Case remanded to files — victim cannot be located.

Jessie Culbert, 49, charged with misdemeanor false pretense. Case dismissed — case is 12 years old, at request of complainant.

 

Joshua Caleb Miller, 36, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Tommie Lewis Williams, 65, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $853.

Jeremy D. Wright, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for four days served. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573 minus $50 credit. Must pay a fine of $523.

 

Jennifer Nations pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $673.

Horace Pullins III, 36, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days with seven days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Fine set at $423. Pullins also pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573. Pullins also pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $923. Pullins also was charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case dismissed — vital witness failed to appear on served subpoena. Pullins was also charged with willful trespassing. Case remanded to files in condition of plea in other cases.
