Ivan and Lynda Blasini of New Orleans announce the engagement of their daughter, Bettina Blasini to Conor Gibson, son of Clayton and Angela Gibson of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican in New Orleans and a graduate of Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

She is employed by Ochsner Medical Center in Slidell, La., as a nurse anesthetist.

She is the granddaughter of Ediberto and Alma Blasini of Guanica, Puerto Rico and Philip and Marge Ezell of Corpus Christi, Texas.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed by Scairono Martinez Architects in New Orleans as an architect.

He is the grandson of Clayton and Jane Gibson and James and Leah Bedson, all of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Hacienda Siesta Alegre in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
