TALLULAH, La. — Memorial services for Gail Lowry Whatley, 54, of Tallulah, La., who died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, in Tallulah, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah.

Burial will follow at the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Whatley was born Feb. 1, 1961, in Natchez, the daughter of James S. Lowry and Dollie Lowry.

She was employed by Travel Centers of America and lived in Tallulah. She attended college at Copiah- Lincoln Community College and graduated with a degree in business.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Lowry.

Survivors include her two sons, Bill Whatley of Natchez and David Whatley of Tallulah; one brother, Lester Walters and wife, Patsy, of Shreveport, La.: one sister, Julia Walters Minchew of Tallulah: and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
