BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana District Attorney’s Association  announced last week  that Seventh Judicial District District Attorney Brad Burget was elected as a member of the LDAA’s board of directors.

The Seventh Judicial District covers Concordia and Catahoula parishes.

The members will begin their terms Aug. 15.

The association is composed of district attorneys, assistant district attorneys and district attorney investigators in the State of Louisiana. It provides training and legal services for prosecutors across the state. The association develops and promotes legislation to strengthen the criminal justice system, and its members are available for testimony before legislative committees.
