WOODVILLE —Services for Isaac “Ikey” Abraham Carter Jr., 66, of Woodville, who died Friday, July 31, 2015 at his residence, will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015 at Newman Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Bernard Waites and the Rev. Warren Woods Whitaker officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service at Newman Funeral Home in Woodville.

Mr. Carter was born Oct. 20, 1948 in Natchez to Isaac A. Carter and Mary Leake Carter. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Katie Giles Carter of Mobile, Ala.; one son, Isaac William Carter of Mobile, Ala.; and three brothers, Kay F. Carter of St. Francisville, La.; Alex Boyd Carter of Hattiesburg and William Thomas Carter of Woodville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cancer Research Institute or Compassion and Choices.
