Friday, Aug. 14:

Malik Jackson, 18, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. To serve five days in jail. Fine set at $493.

Shameka L. Fort Lucas, 39, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $973.

Courtney Earlean Primm, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting – 1st offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from all Walmart locations. Fine set at $573.

Monday, Aug. 17:

Kelvin V. Johnson pleaded guilty to simple assault – domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail from time of arrest. Fine set at $623.

Tuesday, Aug. 18:

Michael Ewing, 31, charged with armed robbery. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Bond set at $100,000.

Michael Allen Wheeler, 23, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $20,000 to $15,000.

Kinshasa O’Quinn, 22, charged with shoplifting – 3rd offense (felony). Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held in her absence. Bond set at $6,000.

Andy Frye, 49, charged with felony aggravated assault – domestic violence. Case dismissed after preliminary hearing held – no probable cause of aggravated assault.

Hine Brown Jr., 44, charged with felony simple assault – domestic violence. Case bound over to a grand jury after preliminary hearing held. Bond set at $8,500.

Wednesday, Aug. 19:

Frednadus Markie Frye, 25, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.

Odell Carter III, 33, charged with disturbing the peace – domestic violence. Case remanded to files – failure to locate and serve victim. Carter pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $523 minus $100 paid on Wednesday, Aug. 19. Must pay remaining fine of $423.
