Wes and Peggy Branaman of Bainbridge Island, Wash., announce the engagement of their daughter, Colleen Ann Branaman to Kenneth Chase Herring, son of Ken and Sandra Herring of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Bainbridge Island High School and a graduate of Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Wash. She is employed by Kitsap Regional Library in Bremerton, Wash.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez and a graduate of Mississippi State University in Starkville. He is employed by the U.S. Navy in Silverdale, Wash.

The wedding will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church in Bainbridge Island.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the church.
