FERRIDAY — Services for the Rev. Raymond J. Eames, 77, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Franklin Parish Hospital in Greensboro, La., will be 3 p.m. today at Westside Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Larry Wagoner officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Rev. Eames was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Natchez to Jerry and Pauline McCrary Eames.

Rev. Eames was a multi-talented preacher, farmer and welder.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sheila Eames Ferrar and one brother, Red Eames.

He is survived by a loving and devoted wife, Leveda Eames; two sons, Russell Eames and wife, Kim, and Glen Eames and wife, Kate; one sister, Marie Harris; three brothers, Don Eames, Phillip Eames and Bubba Eames; six grandchildren, Raymond, Kristena, Jonah, Adam, Abby and Tanner; two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Aiden; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Eames, David Hedrick, Donnie Eames, David Eames, Steven Eames and Monty Warshaw.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Whittington and James Cockerham.
