FERRIDAY — Services for Wilda White, 71, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, at Heritage Manor Health and Rehab Center in Ferriday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rufus Baptist Church in Ferriday.

Burial will follow at the Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Waterproof under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. White was born March 3, 1944, in McComb, the daughter of William and Faye Brumfield Mixon.

She was a retired beautician.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis White Sr.; and one daughter, Debra White.

Survivors include two sons, Louis White Jr. and wife, Shelia Rose, of Winnsboro, La., and Paul White of Kenner, La.; four daughters, Vera White and Valerie Robertson, both of Ferriday, Marie A. Robertson of Kenner and Delores Robertson of Vidalia; one brother, William Mixon Jr. of Hammond, La.; one sister, Mary Williams of Kenner; 15 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Frank Ford of Ferriday.
