Mr. John LaSyone and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Skates, all of Vidalia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Abbie Claire LaSyone to Joshua Hunter Temple, son of Mrs. Debbie Temple of Vidalia and the late Mr. Randy Temple.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is attending Louisiana State University at Alexandria, La.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Faye LaSyone of Vidalia and the late Mr. Warren LaSyone and Mr. and Mrs. John Meche of Ridgecrest.

The groom-to-be is also a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He is employed by Kansas City Southern Railway in Alexandria.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Lois Temple of Vidalia and the late Mr. J.B. Temple and Mr. and Mrs. James Pennington and the late Mr. Hubert Amelunkie of Natchez.

The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at the Carriage House in Natchez.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
