FAYETTE — Services for Katy W. Rollins, 81, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at Jefferson County Nursing Home, will be 1 p.m. today at Salem Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Morris Beverly III officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Rollins was born Feb. 1, 1934, in Mississippi, the daughter of A.J. and Gertrude West.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Rollins; one sister, Sadie Sorrell; and one brother, Freddie West.

Survivors include four sons, Melvin Roberts Sr., Clarence Roberts, Claude Rollins and Nathan Rollins; one sister, Jessie Mae Harris; three brothers, A.J. West, Joseph West and J.W. West; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
