DELHI, La. — The Delhi Charter School Gators had no problems in defeating the Delta Charter School Storm 48-0 Friday night to remain undefeated in LHSAA District 2-1A.

“We fought hard. We just ran up against a buzzsaw,” Delta Charter head coach Jarrett Hoffpauir said. “Delhi Charter played hard. They’re a well-coached team. Well-disciplined. We couldn’t get anything going offensively.”

Delta Charter also had a hard time trying to slow down Delhi Charter’s dive option offense when the Gators (5-3, 4-0) had the ball.

“We run it well. We had a hard time stopping them,” Hoffpauir said.

Delta Charter (1-6, 0-4) plays host to Sicily Island next Friday with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
