Doris Jean Walker Rollins

STAMPLEY — Services for Doris Jean Walker Rollins, 78, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Stampley with the Rev. Lonnie Culbert officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Rollins was born Feb. 24, 1937, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Isiah Walker Sr. and Aleine Green Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Isiah Walker Jr.; one sister, Dorothy Turner; and one grandson, Michael Jordan Rollins.

Survivors include five children, Darlene R. Taylor of Ridgeland, Michael A. Rollins and Briggette K. Rollins, both of Natchez, Calvin Rollins of Houston, Stephanie J. Jackson and husband, Thomas, of Clinton; one stepson, Ronald L. Rollins; one sister, Mildred E. Carter; one brother, Tommie Walker; one aunt, Mamie L. Green Mazique; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
