NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Deborah “Debbie” LaMerne Miller Fitzgerald, 58, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 6 p.m. Thursday at George F. West Sr. Memorial Chapel at West Gate Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddie Dawson officiating.12_2 DebroahFitzgerald obitpic

Arrangements are under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born May 16, 1957, in Layton, Utah, the daughter Darlene Campbell and Ronald Max Miller.

She attended school in Orange County, Calif., and was a member of the Gospel Temple Baptist Church. She was a housewife and loved spending time with her husband, nieces and nephews.

Debbie also enjoyed watching soap operas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Eliston Fitzgerald; mother-in-law, Mary L. Fitzgerald; two brothers, Ronnie Miller and California and John Miller and wife, Karen, of Bullhead, Ariz.; one goddaughter, MaKayla Lear of Atlanta; one godson, Derrick Washington of Natchez; nine sisters-in-law, Mary Moultrie, Geraldine Hooper and husband, Clyde, Shirley Dockery and husband, Bobbie, Althea Brown and husband, Bruce, all of Detroit, Gwendolyn Ware and husband, Willie, Darlene Jones and husband, Lavandia, and Shelia Bradley, all of Natchez, Barbara Fitzgerald of Jackson and Benittlia Jones and husband, Wilbert, of Kenner, La.; four brothers-in-law, Johnnie Lee Fitzgerald and wife, Leola, Robert Fitzgerald, Roderick Ransom and Cordell Ransom and wife, Rita, all of Natchez; two nephews, Johnnie Miller and Zachary; one niece, Fawn Miller, all of Bullhead, Ariz.; and uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
