NATCHEZ — Sheriff Chuck Mayfield promoted court security officer, Gary Conn to the rank of sergeant Dec. 30.

“Sergeant Conn is one the most reliable and honest deputies we have in our midst. It is an honor to give him this promotion which he deserves so much,” Mayfield said.

Conn has been an employee of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office since July 2011.
