FERRIDAY — A third man was arrested over the weekend in connection with an August 2015 shooting.

Curtis O. Scott, 29, 614 Belle Grove Circle, Vidalia, was arrested on charges of two counts second-degree murder and probation violation. Scott was arrested in Muskegon, Mich., and picked up by the Ferriday Police Department over the weekend.

Ferriday Police Chief Margaret Lawrence said Scott’s arrest stems from an Aug. 22, 2015, shooting that occurred on the corner of Georgia and Sixth streets.

Earlier that night, the male victim is alleged to have been involved in a fight with Jarvis Davis, Markell Cook and Curtis Scott at Club Steppers, Lawrence said.
