NATCHEZ — An Adams County man has been indicted on charges of conspiracy and murder this week.

Allen T. Thomas, 34, 199 Charles St., Petal, was booked into the Adams County Jail and detained on a $250,000 bond. He has an initial court date set for Feb. 18.

An indictment means a grand jury has concluded enough evidence exists to warrant a full look at the allegations against a suspect at trial.

Thomas was one of three men initially charged in a February 2014 shooting that killed Terrence Thornburg, 20, who was shot in the back of his head at his residence on East Stiers Lane.

Police said at the time of the arrests they believe the killing was a robbery gone awry.
