VIDALIA — Services for Bertha Lee Broadus Williams, 79, of Vidalia, who died Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at Merit Health Natchez, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Zion Baptist Church in Vidalia.

Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel in Natchez and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.

Mrs. Williams born Dec. 19, 1936, in Louisiana, the daughter of Dan Broadus and Josephine Turner Broadus.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles “Red” Williams; one son, Archie Williams; and two brothers, Lawrence Broadus and Henry Browder.

Survivors include three daughters, Patsy Broadus of Jackson, Sharon Broadus Moody and J. Terranca Broadus, both of Vidalia; five sons, Earnest Broadus of Houston, Darren Williams Sr., Charles Jones, Elbert Miller, all of Natchez, and Morrell Jones of Roxie; one sister, Sandra Walton of Gulfport; a special cousin, Mary T. Davis of Natchez; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
