It’s kickball tournament time again

Spring in Natchez means several things: blooming flowers, tourists from around the world, warm temperatures and kickball.

It is time for the Annual Leadership Natchez Kickball Tournament! On March 26, come out to Duncan Park and join Leadership Natchez for a day of fun with kickball games beginning at 9:00 that morning. We will be serving food throughout the day as well as drinks at what is sure to be a fun spring day!

Leadership Natchez is a program that is a division of the Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of Leadership Natchez is to identify, educate, and inspire leaders to serve our community. Currently, Leadership Natchez is comprised of 13 members from 12 different companies in the Natchez area. We have been working hard this year to help our community by helping with the Great Mississippi River Balloon Races, raising money through our “Flamingo Flock” project, and building the 2nd Annual “Throwback Float” with the help of Youth Leadership Natchez which benefited Pleasant Acres Day School.

This year, the members of Leadership Natchez have chosen to donate all profits from the Kickball Tournament to the Natchez Adams County Humane Society. Due to the partnering of the two organizations, there will be an animal adoption drive set up at Duncan Park the day of the tournament!

If you are interested in participating, we have multiple options. The most popular, and definitely the most fun, way to participate is to enter a team. We allow 12 teams to enter the tournament (the first 12 teams to pay are entered). Each team is allowed a maximum of 12 players with at least two players being female.

The other way to help out is to be a sponsor. Sponsorships start at $150 and go up to $1,000. We have a sponsorship for all business sizes and would appreciate your support. For more information, please feel free to contact me at lauren.burns@unitedmsbk.com.

Leadership Natchez would like to thank the community for all of their support as we strive to improve upon the city we love. We are excited about our annual Kickball Tournament and can’t wait to see everyone at Duncan Park on March 26!
